Comments: So…where does buying Tide come in? I really have to do laundry. Would that be 11? How am I supposed to put on the fruit of the spirit if it’s in my basket of dirty laundry? Another question: number 5 and number 10…those are the same things, right? And is this church near a Target? I really need to get more Tide…

Note Material: Post-It note, dark purple
List Items: TO BUY [squiggly line], [hyphen] bermudas, [bulleted list] khaki, striped?, plaid?, [hyphen] tanks, [hyphen] bathing suit(s), [hyphen] pj pants & shirt, [hyphen] foundation, [hyphen] waterproff [sp] mascara, [hyphen] books
Discarded Condition: very slightly folded, very slightly wrinkled
Comments: As I’ve stated, I don’t make lists. And I especially don’t make lists when shopping for clothes. If I’m out to buy clothes, I look around, and see if there’s anything I like. If I don’t see anything, I don’t buy anything. This woman obviously does not shop that way. She has listed in detail what articles of clothing she needs to buy. Does one really need that variety of bermudas? “pj pants & shirt”…doesn’t everyone have a “shirt”? Does she really need a specific one to go with a new pair of pj pants? Also, how does one manage to misspell “waterproof”? I would love to know what kind of person lists so many details about bermuda shorts, yet lists no details for “books”.

Note Material: Square white desktop notepad, non-adhesive
List Items: votives, cloroxwipes, other bath wipes, dishwasher soaptabs, laundry soap
Discarded Condition: Folded, slightly wrinkled
Comments: I love this bubbly, girlish (in my eyes) marker writing. It’s so big and…there. I do wonder about “other bath wipes”: are these those awesome moistened, flushable asswipes? Because those really are awesome. I’m a fan.

Note Material: Post-It note, small size, white
List Items: Eprc [Epic?], Contract, Room Storage
Discarded Condition: slightly wrinkled
Comments: At first, I thought that said Epic, but there is no dot for the i, and the character looks very similar to the letter r found in the other words. Yes, I analyze handwriting anomalies like this all the time.

It’s not a Discarded List, but it is The Discarded List t-shirt! If you like the site, and want to help support it, and you like this shirt, please consider buying a t-shirt. Skreened is a great custom t-shirt shop, they are local (to me), incredibly ethical, and I know the guys that run it: they’re awesome. They have a wide variety of American Apparel shirts that they print on, and they have tons of user created designs. Check out more of my designs here here, and here.
Thanks again for visiting the site! :) Back to more TDL…

Note Material: Post-It note, yellow, rotated 90 degrees (sticky part along left side)
List Items: [hyphenated list] Bed Bath & Beyond [squiggly line] Target [hyphenated list] D90, Listerine, Old Spice Spray & Deo [squiggly line] Dantes [squiggly line] Home [squiggly line] Keys?? [squiggly line]
Discarded Condition: extremely crumpled
Comments: This is more of a to-do list than a shopping list, as there are only actual products listed under Target. I have no idea what Dantes is. Also…shouldn’t the question of “Keys??” be answered first? If it’s not, no one is going to Dantes…whatever that is.

Note Material: Post-It note, funky orange graphic with dashed lines
List Items: TP, Razor Blades (Personal Touch), Face Lotion, tide, downy
Discarded Condition: folded, slightly wrinkled
Comments: Such a large piece of paper for a small list. I love how TP tops the list; it is a necessity, you know. Also, how come the brand name detergents start with lower case letters, yet the other general items don’t?
